Abloom Med Spa also wants to help you with your New Years Resolutions this year. Add these Beauty Resolutions to your list to ensure a Beautiful 2013…
RESOLUTION #1 PROTECT YOUR SKIN
It’s no secret that sun harms your skin, most people don’t realize that the sun’s UV rays are still strong when it’s cold out. While most body parts are covered this time of year, make sure you never leave the house without sunscreen on your face and hands–even on cloudy days. In 20 years, you’ll thank yourself.
Remember to force your guy to wear sunscreen. Being of the male gender does not ward you agains sun damage and skin cancer!
Up your suncreen to 30 SPF or higher this year.
RESOLUTION #2 WORK OUT
While this one seems to be on our list every year, did you know it also helps your skin? Work out at least three times a week for a naturally glowing complexion, not to mention, a hot bod!
RESOLUTION #3 EAT GOOD FOR YOUR SKIN FOODS
It’s no secret that good skin starts from within. Make sure to incorporate good-for-your skin foods like salmon, almonds and berries to achieve well balanced and glowing skin.
RESOLUTION #4 COMMIT TO SKIN-CARE
Commit to a skin-care routine. Try a new regimen for at least two to six weeks before changing products, as this is the amount of time it usually takes for a formula’s results to show. Start using an eyecream. It’s never too early or late to fight fine lines and wrinkles!
Start using a product with glycolic acid or retinol–both are amazing chemical skin fixers that help prevent and dissolve fine lines, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin texture and tone, and even skin acne.
Start using a balancing toner. Balanced skin is happy skin and happy skin is healthy skin.
Get at least 6-8 hours of beauty rest a night. Even if you can’t get rest, make it a priority to give yourself a time out now and then. With all the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we need to relax and bring our stress levels down-or else we end up wearing it.
RESOLUTION #6 CLEAN YOUR CELL PHONE
Cell phones, we can’t live without them. Did you know that your cell phone contains more germs per square inch than a public restroom toilet….ick! That’s like laying your cheek against the seat in a McDonald’s bathroom. We recommend cleaning your phone once a week, use rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball to disinfect.
RESOLUTION #7 LOVE YOURSELF
Embrace what your mama (or daddy) gave you. That means loving all of you…spider veins, dark under-eye circles, belly flab, unruly hair and all! Abloom Med Spa staff wants you to know you are absolutely beautiful(or handsome) and we are here to make sure YOU see it!
